SAFE Committee had a guest speaker Mr. Marc Mero from "Champion of Choices" present on
March 24th. He will return April 29th. His topic was focused on "Making Positive Choices".

On April 14, 2008 The District SAFE team came and conducted training for the new SAFE Ambassador
team. Over 30 students were selected that are making positive choices and are good representatives
of the Jackson name.

The SAFE Ambassador team will be promoting Diversity month by selecting an unfamiliar student from
a different team to sit with them during lunch.

The SAFE Coordinator, Ms. Pinott is facilitating two groups. The Anger Management Group and the
Grief/Coping Skills Group. Students that wish to attend please see Ms. Pinott and receive a consent form.
